Parental Consent

⚠ Required for Minors

If the prospect is under 18, the parent, mother or legal guardian MUST sign this consent before the minor participates in any event or appears on the platform.

1. Why We Need Your Consent

Minors under 18 cannot, by Venezuelan law (Lopnna Art. 28), authorize use of their image, personal data or sports information without their legal representative's permission. MVP Showcase publicly displays the prospect's profile to professional scouts — this requires explicit authorization.

2. What You Are Authorizing

By signing this consent, you authorize MVP Showcase to:

  • Create a public profile of the minor with sports data: name, position, date of birth, height, weight, B/T, affiliated academy, evaluation metrics.
  • Capture and publish video and photography of the minor during events, exclusively for sports purposes.
  • Share the profile with registered professional scouts on the platform.
  • Use material on MVP Showcase social media for program promotion, always respecting the minor's dignity.

3. What You Are NOT Authorizing

MVP Showcase will never:

  • Sell minor data to advertising third parties.
  • Publish sensitive data (address, phone, personal email).
  • Use the minor's image in extra-sports commercial advertising.
  • Share parent/guardian financial information with scouts.

4. How to Grant Consent

During Soft Launch (Sub-phase 1A), consent is managed offline:

  1. When registering the minor, the academy will send the consent format via WhatsApp/email.
  2. You sign it (digitally or physically) and include a copy of the parent/guardian's ID.
  3. Send back to the academy or directly to rtizjavier@gmail.com.

In Sub-phase 1B we will implement a digital flow with electronic signature integrated into the registration form.

5. How to Withdraw Consent

You can withdraw consent at any time without justification.

  • The minor's profile is deleted from the platform within 30 days.
  • Videos and photos are erased from servers in the same period.
  • Financial data (past payments) is kept for 5 years per Venezuelan accounting requirements, but not publicly visible.

6. Your Rights as Representative

  • Access the minor's complete profile at any time.
  • Request correction of incorrect information.
  • Request partial or total deletion.
  • Object to specific uses of material.
