1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MVP Showcase platform (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree, do not use the Platform.

2. Service Nature

MVP Showcase is an amateur baseball scouting platform that connects Venezuelan prospects with academies, scouts and professional agents through in-person events and a digital profile system with metrics, video and rankings.

3. Eligibility

  • Prospects must be between 7 and 18 years of age. For minors, written parental consent is REQUIRED (see Minor Consent).
  • Academies must be legally registered and authorized to represent their prospects.
  • Scouts and agents must verify professional affiliation.

4. Event Registration

  • Event registration is only confirmed upon receipt and validation of the corresponding payment by the administrator.
  • Displayed prices are canonical but may be adjusted per event (volume discounts, promos).
  • MVP Showcase reserves the right to cancel registrations for eligibility or payment issues.

5. Payment and Refund Policy

  • Payments are made via Zelle, Binance Pay (USDT), USD cash, Bolívar bank transfer (at Binance P2P daily rate) or Pago Móvil.
  • Refunds: 100% up to 7 days before event. 50% between 7 and 3 days. No refund less than 3 days (operations already committed).
  • If MVP Showcase cancels the event for its own reasons, 100% refund regardless of date.

6. Food, Drink and Additional Services

Event registration does NOT include food or drinks. Vendors will be available at the venue. MVP Showcase is not responsible for third-party services (transportation, lodging, catering).

7. Video and Photo Use

By registering a prospect in an event, you (or the parent/legal guardian in case of a minor) authorize MVP Showcase to:

  • Capture video and photo during the event for sports evaluation purposes.
  • Store and display said material on the prospect's public profile within the Platform.
  • Use material for Platform promotion on social media, always respecting the minor's dignity and without extra-sports commercial use.

8. User Conduct

It is prohibited to upload false, offensive material, spam, or use the Platform to harass, impersonate identity or deceive scouts.

9. Limitation of Liability

MVP Showcase does not guarantee contracts, scholarships or pro signings. We are a visibility and evaluation platform; scouting results depend on the prospect's talent and third-party decisions.

10. Modifications

These terms may be updated. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Substantial changes are notified by email to registered users.
